Tata Motors rises as its group’s global wholesales stand at 91,594 units in Q1 FY21

Tata Motors is currently trading at Rs. 107.60, up by 0.60 points or 0.56% from its previous closing of Rs. 107.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 106.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 108.60 and Rs. 105.50 respectively. So far 2928581 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 201.80 on 15-Jan-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 63.60 on 24-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 112.60 and Rs. 104.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 33036.56 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.39%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 30.42% and 16.80% respectively.

Tata Motors Group’s global wholesales in Q1 FY21, including Jaguar Land Rover, were at 91,594 nos., lower by 64%, as compared to Q1 FY20. Global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in Q1 FY21 were at 11,598 nos., lower by 89%, over Q1 FY20.

Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in Q1 FY21 were at 79,996 nos., lower by 49% as compared to Q1 FY20. Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover were 65,425 vehicles (JLR number for Q1 FY21 includes CJLR volumes of 16,513 units). Jaguar wholesales for the quarter were 17,971 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the quarter were 47,454 vehicles.
