Country's major real estate player, DLF is in fresh troubles as social activist Arvind Kejriwal has accused the company for favoring Robert Vadra, son-in-law of Congress chief and the UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi with easy loans for some undue gains. Society activists alleged that DLF has provided unsecured interest free loan of Rs 65 crore to Vadra for purchasing property worth crores of rupees between 2007 and 2010.
However, the company has argued that it had given Rs 65 crore as business advances out of which Rs 15 crore was fully refunded and Rs 50 crore was used for purchase of land. The company also mentioned that it neither received any undue benefit from any state governments nor was it allotted any land by Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan governments.
