Mahanagar Gas falls on hiking CNG prices

Mahanagar Gas is currently trading at Rs. 1007.25, down by 20.30 points or 1.98% from its previous closing of Rs. 1027.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1027.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1031.00 and Rs. 1000.00 respectively. So far 48661 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1246.80 on 29-Jan-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 666.40 on 19-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1036.05 and Rs. 986.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 9928.15 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 32.50%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 58.61% and 8.89% respectively.

Mahanagar Gas has declared a marginal Rs 1 per kg increase in the price of compressed natural gas (CNG) to Rs 48.95 per kg. Accordingly, revised selling price inclusive of all taxes in and around Mumbai will be Rs 48.95/kg.
