Further to intimation dated February 17 and May 21, 2020, GMR Infrastructure has informed that the long stop date for the proposed divestment of 100% stake in GMR Kamalanga Energy (1050 MW) to JSW Energy has elapsed. Given the continued uncertainty due to Covid-19 pandemic, the parties have mutually agreed to terminate the said transaction. Its Kamalanga plant is currently operating at good efficiency levels post the Covid lockdowns.
