Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL) has achieved total wheel rim sales of 9.25 lakh in July 2020 as against 12.59 lakh in July 2019 representing a de-growth of 27% YoY. SSWL expects to maintain good MoM uptrend to come to Pre-Covid levels by September 2020.
Alloy Wheel Segment reported its highest Volume sale ever for July 2020. Mehsana plant is expected to run at 90% utilization in August 2020 onwards. Tractor segment remained at almost 100% utilization pace and near all-time high historic trends.
SSWL is a part of the Steel Strips Group, headquartered in Chandigarh. It is engaged in the manufacturing of single piece steel wheel rims in the range of 10 to 30 inches for scooters, passenger cars, utility vehicles and tractors. It supplies rims to almost all major manufacturers of two wheelers, three wheelers, four wheelers, tractors and heavy commercial vehicle.
