Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has partnered with Tata Power for supply of solar energy for its Mumbai hotels as part of strategy to focus on sustainable and cost-efficient business practices. The company has signed a solar energy power purchase agreement (PPA) with TP Kirnali Solar, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power Company.
Indian Hotels Company and its subsidiaries are collectively known as Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces and recognized as one of Asia's largest and finest hotel company. It operates in the luxury, premium, midmarket and value segments of the market.
