NHPC reports 17% fall in Q1 consolidated net profit

NHPC has reported results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2020.

The company has reported 18% fall in its net profit at Rs 722.54 crore for the quarter under review as compared net profit of Rs 881.14 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 3.84% at Rs 2604.82 crore for Q1FY21 as compared Rs 2508.45 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 17.05% fall in its net profit attributable to owners at Rs 772.20 crore for the quarter under review as compared net profit of Rs 930.89 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 5.79% at Rs 2914.02 crore for Q1FY21 as compared Rs 2754.48 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
