Bajaj Auto reports 9% decline in August sales

Bajaj Auto has reported 9 per cent decline in total sales to 356,199 units in August as against 390,026 in the same month last year. Total domestic sales fell 11 per cent to 185,879 units last month as compared to 208,109 units in August 2019. Total two-wheeler sales were down 1 per cent at 321,058 units as compared to 325,300 units in the year-ago month.

Bajaj Auto is world’s fourth largest two and three-wheeler manufacturer. Bajaj Auto has three plants in all, two at Waluj and Chakan in Maharashtra and one plant at Pant Nagar in Uttaranchal.
