Kalpataru Power Transmission gains on incorporating WOS company

Kalpataru Power Transmission is currently trading at Rs. 259.10, up by 4.75 points or 1.87% from its previous closing of Rs. 254.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 258.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 261.70 and Rs. 258.00 respectively. So far 3216 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 515.00 on 24-Sep-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 170.00 on 27-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 278.55 and Rs. 249.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3992.43 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.38%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 34.05% and 11.57% respectively.

Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL) has incorporated a Wholly Owned Subsidiary company namely ‘Kalpataru Power Senegal - SARL’ (KPSS) in Republic of Senegal. The Company is executing T&D Projects in Republic of Senegal and accordingly, as per requirements of Local laws, KPSS has been incorporated as a local entity for execution of such Projects. KPSS shall also evaluate other Business Opportunities considering market scenario.
