KNR Constructions surges after securing order worth Rs 1157.42 crore from Government of Tamilnadu

KNR Construction is currently trading at Rs. 269.15, up by 5.35 points or 2.03% from its previous closing of Rs. 263.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 270.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 270.45 and Rs. 264.40 respectively. So far 8211 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 311.05 on 30-Jan-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 171.65 on 26-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 272.15 and Rs. 253.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3784.71 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.03%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 35.63% and 9.34% respectively.

KNR Constructions has bagged orders of Rs 1157.42 crore from Highways Department, Govt. of Tamilnadu for construction of Elevated Highway along Avinashi Road in Coimbatore City from Goldwins to Upplipalayam Km.147/ 100-157 / 200 of (SHU-52) to be completed within a period of 48 months from the appointed date.
