Physical Rubber prices showed firmness on Tuesday due to improved demand followed by sustained gains in global trendsetters. The Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries said global consumption is expected to increase 2.6 percent on-year in August-October. Further, ongoing supply crunch in the market too supported rubber prices.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety gained to 138/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 136/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety jumped to 133/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 131/ kg.
