The promoters of Ester Industries have increased their holding in the company to 64.04 per cent. Fenton Investments, Wilemina Finance Corp and Movi -- all promoter and promoter group entities -- acquired 4.9 lakh (0.59 per cent) 14.4 lakh (1.73 per cent) and 21.6 lakh (2.59 per cent) shares respectively on August 11 and September 1 via an off-market transaction.

Ester Industries main business activities are production and marketing of versatile ranges of polyester films and engineering plastics.
