IEX rises as Dalmia Cement buys shares worth Rs 98 crore of the company

Indian Energy Exchange is currently trading at Rs. 191.40, up by 1.25 points or 0.66 % from its previous closing of Rs. 190.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 195.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 195.00 and Rs. 190.50 respectively. So far 20314 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 203.40 on 25-Feb-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 111.05 on 23-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 195.00 and Rs. 187.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5732.01 crore.

The Institutions holding in the company stood at 63.26% and Non-Institutions held at 36.74% stake in the company.

Dalmia Cement (Bharat) has purchased shares of Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) worth nearly Rs 98 crore through open market transaction. As per the bulk deal data on BSE, over 51.49 lakh scrips of the firm were picked up by Dalmia Cement (Bharat) at Rs 190.1 per share.

It enables efficient price discovery and price risk management for participants of the electricity market including industries eligible for open access through anonymous platform.
