Minda Industries gains on raising funds through rights issue

Minda Industries is currently trading at Rs. 357.50, up by 4.55 points or 1.29% from its previous closing of Rs. 352.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 351.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 358.15 and Rs. 349.50 respectively. So far 6876 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 423.72 on 27-Jan-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 208.25 on 19-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 358.15 and Rs. 320.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 9698.34 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 70.79%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.73% and 11.48% respectively.

Minda Industries has raised fund through allotment of 97,11, 739 equity shares of face-value Rs 2 each to the eligible applicants in the Rights Issue at an issue price of Rs 250 per Equity Share (including a premium of Rs 248 per Equity Share). Accordingly, pursuant to the Allotment, the paid-up equity share capital of the Company stands increased from 26,22,16,965  Equity Shares to 27,19,28,704 Equity Shares.

The Rights issue committee of the Board of Company at its meeting held on September 15, 2020 has approved the same.

Minda Industries offers a range of products across various verticals of auto components, such as switching systems, acoustic systems and alloy wheels, among others.
