Sterling and Wilson Solar jumps on signing order of 106.71 MW worth Rs 462 crore in Chile

Sterling and Wilson Solar is currently trading at Rs. 231.85, up by 8.10 points or 3.62% from its previous closing of Rs. 223.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 235.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 239.00 and Rs. 231.85 respectively.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 665.00 on 23-Sep-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 69.75 on 31-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 278.50 and Rs. 218.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3588.06 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 77.22%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.81% and 10.97% respectively.

Sterling and Wilson Solar has signed an order of 106.71 MW worth $62.6 million (Rs 462 crore) in Chile. The order has been received from a global independent power producer (IPP), work for which is expected to begin in Q4 FY 2021. The company already has a strong presence in the region with one project of 93.3 MW in Argentina and three projects of 588 MW under construction in Chile.
