Tata Metaliks slips on shutting down one of blast furnaces & associated facilities in Kharagpur

Tata Metaliks is currently trading at Rs. 539.00, down by 14.55 points or 2.63% from its previous closing of Rs. 553.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 549.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 555.25 and Rs. 536.85 respectively. So far 5064 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 688.00 on 14-Jan-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 311.40 on 25-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 559.95 and Rs. 525.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1525.16 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.06%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.83% and 25.11% respectively.

Tata Metaliks’ one of blast furnaces and its associated facilities in Kharagpur plant is undergoing a planned shutdown, in phases, for repair & maintenance including hearth profiling from September 19, 2020. The operations are expected to be back on stream in 2nd half of October, 2020.

Tata Metaliks is engaged in manufacturing of pig iron, casting, iron ore fines, coke breeze and limestone. It is a leading pig iron manufacturer and seller in India.
