Indian Hotels’ Ginger signs second hotel in Guwahati

Ginger, operated by Roots Corporation which is a subsidiary of The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), has signed its second hotel in the city of Guwahati. The hotel will be designed around the brand’s lean luxe philosophy of offering a vibrant, contemporary and seamless hospitality experience to its guests. The hotel is a fully fitted lease. 

The hotel, a Greenfield project, will be located on Rajgarh Road connecting the commercially vibrant Guwahati-Shillong Road and the old town area of Chanmari. The hotel will feature 76 rooms, an all-day restaurant and bar, meeting room, banquet hall and a fitness centre.

With the signing of this hotel, Indian Hotels Company will have three hotels in Assam and eight hotels in North East India.

Indian Hotels Company and its subsidiaries are collectively known as Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces and recognized as one of Asia's largest and finest hotel company. It operates in the luxury, premium, midmarket and value segments of the market.
