Cummins India rises on remaining bullish about India market

Cummins India is currently trading at Rs. 433.45, up by 1.65 points or 0.38% from its previous closing of Rs. 431.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 432.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 436.95 and Rs. 430.25 respectively. So far 10935 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 652.80 on 29-Jan-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 281.60 on 08-Apr-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 464.25 and Rs. 430.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 12048.50 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 37.42% and 11.58% respectively.

Cummins India has remained bullish about the India market and expects a further improvement in demand going forward, even as the peak festive season demand may see a 50 per cent year-on-year decline. The company also said it expects to get back to the optimum capacity utilisation across its plants, which is on average 80-85 per cent, by the middle of 2021.

Cummins India (CIL) is a leading manufacturer of diesel engines.
