Indian Hotels gains as its arm opens new hotel in Odisha

The Indian Hotels Company is currently trading at Rs. 94.75, up by 0.30 points or 0.32% from its previous closing of Rs. 94.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 94.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 95.10 and Rs. 93.55 respectively. So far 38320 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 158.00 on 13-Nov-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 62.10 on 18-May-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 101.00 and Rs. 93.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 11250.38 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 40.75%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 43.71% and 15.54% respectively.

Ginger, operated by Roots Corporation which is a subsidiary of The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), has opened a new hotel in Kalinganagar, Odisha. The hotel is designed around the brand’s lean luxe philosophy. It presents a co-existence of contrasts through dynamic spaces, seamlessly blending the lines of work and play.

With the addition of this hotel, Indian Hotels Company has four hotels in Odisha.
