Hero MotoCorp, M&M and Persistent Systems to see some action today

Hero MotoCorp has launched the new Pleasure plus Platinum, delivering its commitment of providing customers with an appealing and comprehensive range of products. The new Pleasure plus Platinum comes in quick succession after the recent launch of the Maestro Edge 125 Stealth. Thus, highlighting the company’s focus on further expanding its presence in the scooter segment and delighting the customers with its premium and youthful portfolio.

Mahindra & Mahindra’s (M&M) subsidiary company -- Mahindra Electric Mobility has launched its new electric three- wheeler 'Treo' in Karnataka at Rs 2.7 lakh post FAME subsidies. The new Mahindra Treo electric auto is now completely designed and developed in India and offers best-in-class performance with higher speed of 55 kmph and better acceleration from 0-20 kmph in just 2.3 seconds. The Treo is available with a low down payment scheme of just Rs 50,000 from Mahindra Finance and low interest rate scheme of only 10.8 percent from State Bank of India. Mahindra Treo comes with an attractive exchange bonus of Rs 5,000.

Persistent Systems has entered into an agreement to acquire Palo Alto, CA-based CAPIOT, including its subsidiaries in Australia, India and Singapore. CAPIOT specializes in enterprise integration with valuable expertise in MuleSoft, Red Hat and TIBCO. In addition, CAPIOT delivers enterprise modernization, leading with advanced proficiency in key partner platforms, frameworks and industry data models.

Natco Pharma is aiming to launch around 10 new products every year in the Indian market. The company’s strategy remains intact as it invests prudently in its research, manufacturing plants and enriching of skill sets. It has also some interesting filings and high-value launches in its international markets in the coming years. During the year, the company spent Rs 349 crore on capital expenditure, a majority of which was used to enhance capabilities of their manufacturing facilities.

JK Tyre & Industries has expanded Truck Wheel Centre with the launch of one such facility in Bhiwandi. Truck Wheel is a truck/bus service centre that provides a one-stop solution to all tyre maintenance needs for trucks and buses. The new flagship centre takes the total number of such facilities to 52 pan-India, with eight of them in Maharashtra alone. The launch of this centre in Maharashtra is in line with the company's aim to bolster its retail presence in the state and across the country.

Indian Bank has launched a facility on its website for its personal loan borrowers to submit the requests for restructuring of their loans under the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) one-time loan recast norms. In August this year, the RBI had announced a one-time restructuring scheme for personal loan and corporate borrowers affected by COVID-19 stress.

Greaves Cotton’s wholly-owned electric mobility subsidiary -- Ampere Electric has tied-up with eBikeGO and secured an order from the e-mobility start-up for supply of 2,000 electric scooters. The developments come close on the heels of Ampere bagging an order of 3,000 e-scooters from Bengaluru-based scooter rental start-up Bounce last week.
