NHPC has tested and commissioned Unit 1 (60 MW) of Bairasiul Power Station (3 X 60 MW) in Himachal Pradesh after completion of Renovation and Modernization works. The commercial operation of Unit 1 of Bairasiul Power Station has started from November 7, 2020.
NHPC is engaged in electric power generation by hydroelectric power plants. The company is also engaged in contracts, project management and consultancy works.
