Vedanta has reported results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2020.
The company has reported a fall of 87.02% in its net profit at Rs 378 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit of Rs 2913 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 27.55% at Rs 8721 crore for Q2FY21 as compared Rs 12038 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported fall of 61.82% in its net profit attributable to owners at Rs 824 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit of Rs 2158 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company marginally decreased by 4.69% at Rs 21744 crore for Q2FY21 as compared Rs 22814 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
