Zydus Wellness gains on expecting to continue growth momentum

Zydus Wellness is currently trading at Rs. 1762.40, up by 3.30 points or 0.19% from its previous closing of Rs. 1759.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1798.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1798.00 and Rs. 1762.40 respectively. So far 568 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1950.00 on 21-Sep-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1070.00 on 13-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1891.95 and Rs. 1732.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 11260.34 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 64.82%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 27.47% and 7.71% respectively.

Zydus Wellness is expecting to continue its growth momentum gathered post easing of lockdown and grow the business on the back of new launches and demand recovery in the second half of the current financial year. Zydus Wellness, which owns a portfolio of brands such as Complan, Sugarfree, Glucon-D, Nycil, Nutralite and Sugarlite, would introduce more innovation-based products in the health and hygiene space, a segment heightened after the pandemic.

Zydus Wellness was incorporated as Carnation Nutra-Analogue Foods Limited. Initially the company was engaged in the business of manufacturing, buying and selling of all types of health food products, low fat, low cholesterol including table margarine, cheese, butter and substitute products.
