Kalpataru Power Transmission zooms after its JV commissions Kohima-Mariani Transmission

Kalpataru Power Transmission is currently trading at Rs. 287.15, up by 8.10 points or 2.90% from its previous closing of Rs. 279.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 284.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 296.00 and Rs. 284.00 respectively. So far 70320 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 475.65 on 20-Jan-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 170.00 on 27-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 296.00 and Rs. 248.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4325.25 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.29%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 32.83% and 11.88% respectively.

Kalpataru Power Transmission’s Joint Venture -- Kohima-Mariani Transmission (KMTL) has successfully commissioned Element-2 (Imphal-New Kohima Line) of the Project. Earlier in July 2020, KMTL had commissioned Element-1 (Substation) and Element-3 (New Kohima - New Mariani Line). With the commissioning of Element 2 now, the project is completed.

KMTL is a joint venture between Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL) and Techno Electric & Engineering Company (TEECL) with KPTL holding 74% of equity.
