Bharti Airtel, Dwarikesh Sugar Industries and BEML to see some action today

Bharti Airtel has entered into an agreement for acquisition of equity shares in Avaada MHBuldhana a special purpose vehicle formed for the purpose of owning and operating the Captive Power Plant, in terms of the regulatory requirement for captive power consumption under electricity laws. Avaada MHBuldhana is a newly formed company and developing captive generating solar power plant in Maharashtra which will become operational by March 2021.

Dwarikesh Sugar Industries has obtained necessary approvals from relevant Authorities for commencement of Distillery operations at enhanced capacity of 130 Kilo Liters per day (KLPD) from the earlier capacity of 100 KLPD at Dwarikesh Nagar, Village Bundki, Tehsil Nagina, District Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh with effect from November 22, 2020. This added capacity can be used for making a range of distillery products such as Rectified Spirit, Ethanol, Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA) etc.

BEML has received variation order to contract 'MRS1' from DMRC, for additional 12 trainsets of 06 cars each (total 72 cars) to operate on line 2B and 7 of Mumbai metro project. The order is valued at around Rs 501 crore on equivalent Rupee basis.  With this, the total contract value has increased to around Rs 4318 crore from the existing Rs 3817 crore, all amounts mentioned in equivalent Rupee, for supplies before August 2023.

Petronet LNG has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas November 20, 2020 with the objective to foray in to 'Green Energy and Bio Fuels' for setting up of Compressed Bio Gas (CBG) Plants under Sustainable Alternative Towards Affordable Transportation (SATAT) initiative of the Government of India.

Jindal Steel & power (JSPL) has recorded a 13% growth (Y-o-Y) in standalone Steel Production with 585,000 metric tons in October 2020 as compared to 518,000 metric tons in the previous year during the same period. Company’s standalone Sales rose by 10% (Y-o-Y) in October 2020 with 600,000 metric tons as compared to Standalone Sales of 547,000 metric tons in the previous year during the same period.

Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers (RCF) has recorded its highest ever daily sale of industrial products of Rs 5.44 crore on November 18. The RCF apart from manufacturing chemical fertilisers and industrial products is actively engaged in promoting the use of organic fertilisers and non-chemical bio fertilisers.

RMC Switchgears has bagged sales order of Rs. 3.28 crore from MSEDCL. The COVID-19 pandemic has brutally exposed and worsened existing vulnerabilities in the Indian economy. The Company has been consistently making bids for tenders floated by the Central Government and various State Governments. As a result of its consistency, the Company has been awarded a tender of Rs. 3.28 crore from MSEDCL.
