Bajaj Auto gains on reporting 5% rise in November sales

Bajaj Auto is currently trading at Rs. 3191.95, up by 19.30 points or 0.61% from its previous closing of Rs. 3172.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3200.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3236.60 and Rs. 3178.40 respectively. So far 7252 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3315.00 on 03-Feb-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1793.10 on 24-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3249.75 and Rs. 3032.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 92577.19 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 53.69%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.97% and 22.34% respectively.

Bajaj Auto has reported 5 per cent rise in total sales to 4,22,240 units in November as against 4,03,223 in the same month last year. Total domestic sales marginally decreased 4 per cent to 1,98,933 units last month as compared to 2,07,775 units in November 2019. Total two-wheeler sales were up 12 per cent at 3,84,993 units as compared to 3,43,446 units in the year-ago month.

Bajaj Auto is world’s fourth largest two and three-wheeler manufacturer. Bajaj Auto has three plants in all, two at Waluj and Chakan in Maharashtra and one plant at Pant Nagar in Uttaranchal.
