Godrej Properties rises on adding new project in Bangalore

Godrej Properties is currently trading at Rs. 1228.35, up by 17.60 points or 1.45% from its previous closing of Rs. 1210.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1219.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1230.40 and Rs. 1216.00 respectively.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1230.50 on 02-Dec-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 505.95 on 24-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1230.50 and Rs. 1175.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 30520.68 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 64.44%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.04% and 10.52% respectively.

Godrej Properties has entered into an outright transaction to purchase a well located land parcel in Whitefield, Bangalore. Spread across approximately 18 acres, this project will offer 0.22 million square meters (2.4 million square feet) of saleable area comprising primarily of residential apartments of various configurations.

Whitefield is the largest commercial and residential real estate market in Bangalore and this land parcel is situated near the proposed metro line connecting Whitefield to Hopefarm Junction. The site is well located and offers an extremely well developed social and civic infrastructure with multiple schools, hospitals, retail, residential, and commercial spaces in close proximity.
