Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL) has bagged export orders of nearly 37,000 wheels for US Market, to be executed in the month of January & February from its Chennai plant. Orders of similar capacity are anticipated from the same customer base as businesses have picked up speed. The company expects greater than 40 percent YoY growth in 2020-21.
SSWL is a part of the Steel Strips Group, headquartered in Chandigarh. It is engaged in the manufacturing of single piece steel wheel rims in the range of 10 to 30 inches for scooters, passenger cars, utility vehicles and tractors. It supplies rims to almost all major manufacturers of two wheelers, three wheelers, four wheelers, tractors and heavy commercial vehicle.
