Orient Bell gains on restarting manufacturing line at Uttar Pradesh

Orient Bell is currently trading at Rs. 144.80, up by 1.35 points or 0.94% from its previous closing of Rs. 143.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 144.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 146.00 and Rs. 142.75 respectively. So far 3542 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 154.00 on 14-Nov-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 51.40 on 18-May-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 147.50 and Rs. 138.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 207.49 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.13%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.51% and 36.36% respectively.

Orient Bell has restarted its Sikandrabad Uttar Pradesh, another manufacturing line (MF2) that was closed for more than a couple of years. This line increases the production capacity by more than a million sq.mt per annum, and employs, an additional 100 people. The increase in manufacturing capacity reflects the increasing demand from customers for brands that provide reliable supply and a wide variety of sizes/designs in required lot sizes.
