Alufluoride declines on failing to commence commercial production of expanded capacity

Alufluoride is currently trading at Rs. 174.00, down by 0.25 points or 0.14% from its previous closing of Rs. 174.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 173.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 177.90 and Rs. 165.50 respectively. So far 12847 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'X' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 258.00 on 26-Aug-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 65.00 on 25-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 184.00 and Rs. 165.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 136.86 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 59.29%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 1.28% and 39.43% respectively.

Alufluoride has declared that the commercial production of the new expanded plant could not be commenced from December 19, 2020 due to the overseas Project Consultant's inability to visit the plant as scheduled due to international travel restrictions of the COVID Pandemic. However, efforts are underway to resolve pending issues via video conferencing and resume commercial production shortly.

Alufluoride is engaged in producing Aluminium Fluoride. The company makes continuous efforts to conserve energy at various levels of operations, to save power, fuel oil and cost.
