KP Energy surges on executing definitive agreement with CLP India

KP Energy is currently trading at Rs. 70.90, up by 0.85 points or 1.21% from its previous closing of Rs. 70.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 72.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 73.00 and Rs. 68.55 respectively. So far 1416 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 145.00 on 02-Mar-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 53.75 on 29-Oct-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 76.20 and Rs. 68.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 78.81 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 69.45% and Non-Institutions held 30.55%.

KP Energy has executed the definitive agreement with CLP India for development of 252 MW wind site at Devbhoomi Dwarka. This is the largest value Contract the company has signed directly with an IPP. Hitherto all such Contracts have been undertaken with Turbine Manufacturers only.

KP Energy engages in operating solar and wind energy projects in India. It is developing a wind farm of 25 Megawatts in Bhavnagar and 150 Megawatts in Porbandar.
