Central Bank of India surges on signing MoU with SIDBI

Central Bank Of India is currently trading at Rs. 13.86, up by 0.09 points or 0.65% from its previous closing of Rs. 13.77 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 14.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 14.10 and Rs. 13.57 respectively. So far 348791 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 21.60 on 29-Jun-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 10.04 on 19-Oct-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 14.39 and Rs. 13.57 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 8149.41 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 89.78%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 7.35% and 2.88% respectively.

Central Bank of India has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) to facilitate MSME customers of the bank to use web based Asset Restructuring Module for MSMEs, a Do-It-Yourself tool. It will help MSME customers to submit Restructuring plan for their units online to Central Bank of India in a simple and easy manner. SIDBI in partnership with local MSME associations have placed credit counselors at different locations to provide hand holding support to MSME units seeking restructuring. All these services are available free of cost.
