Larsen & Toubro is currently trading at Rs. 1298.50, up by 6.90 points or 0.53% from its previous closing of Rs. 1291.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1292.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1304.00 and Rs. 1284.50 respectively. So far 67721 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1383.85 on 01-Feb-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 661.05 on 25-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1304.00 and Rs. 1267.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 182363.80 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 53.94% and 46.06%, stake in the company respectively.

Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) construction arm -- L&T construction has secured orders from prestigious clients for two of its businesses. The company’s Power Transmission and Distribution business has won two Transmission Line packages in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia involving Design, Procurement and Construction of 380kV Double Circuit Overhead Transmission Line Corridors for a length of more than 650 KM. These lines are expected to strengthen the grid in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia and facilitate power evacuation.

The Water and Effluent Treatment business has secured an EPC order in the state of Gujarat to execute a package in the SAUNI Yojna Link 3. Saurashtra Narmada Avtaran Irrigation (SAUNI) is a project launched by the Government to fill various reservoirs by diverting floodwaters overflowing from the Sardar Sarovar Dam across the Narmada river to drought areas in Gujarat. The project involves survey, design, procurement, laying and jointing of 2500 mm diameter MS pipeline. L&T has already completed 4 packages in the Sauni Yojana for the same client.

L&T is an Indian multinational engaged in technology, engineering, construction, manufacturing and financial services.
