Reliance Infrastructure touches roof on completing sale of 74% stake in PKTCL to IndiGrid

Reliance Infrastructure is currently trading at its upper limit of Rs. 30.80, up by 1.45 points or 4.94% from its previous closing of Rs. 29.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 30.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 30.80 and Rs. 29.75 respectively. So far 849525 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 44.70 on 03-Jul-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 8.65 on 26-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 30.80 and Rs. 28.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 807.38 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 4.98%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.19% and 78.82% respectively.

Reliance Infrastructure (RInfra) has completed sale of its entire 74% equity stake in Parbati Koldam Transmission Company (PKTCL) to India Grid Trust (IndiGrid). The total transaction value is Rs 900 crore. The entire sale proceeds are being utilized for debt reduction. RInfra has reduced its total debt liabilities by 6 percent from the deal proceeds.

Reliance Infrastructure is one of the largest infrastructure companies, developing projects through various Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) in several high growth sectors within the infrastructure space such as Power, Roads, Metro Rail and Defence.
