Tata Motors zooms on unveiling new petrol variant of premium hatchback Altroz

Tata Motors is currently trading at Rs. 246.50, up by 4.00 points or 1.65% from its previous closing of Rs. 242.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 243.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 249.80 and Rs. 238.60 respectively. So far 3040635 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 249.50 on 12-Jan-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 63.60 on 24-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 249.50 and Rs. 197.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 75865.20 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.39%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 29.06% and 18.10% respectively.

Tata Motors has unveiled a new petrol variant of its premium hatchback Altroz with sales expected to begin from next week across the country. The new trim comes with 1.2 litre bi-turbocharged petrol powertrain which produces 110 PS of power helping the model cross 0-100 km/hr in less than 12 seconds. The company already sells Altroz with 1.2 litre petrol engine which generates 86 PS of power. The 1.5 litre diesel powertrain on the other hand produces 90 PS of power.
