Indian Bank shines after raising Rs 2000 crore through bonds

Indian Bank is currently trading at Rs. 96.15, up by 6.15 points or 6.83% from its previous closing of Rs. 90.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 89.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 98.65 and Rs. 89.50 respectively. So far 964298 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 110.25 on 24-Jan-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 41.70 on 25-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 98.65 and Rs. 85.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 10841.92 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 88.06%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 4.77% and 7.16% respectively.

Indian Bank has successfully raised Tier 2 Capital Fund through Private Placement of Basel III compliant Tier 2 Bonds aggregating to Rs 2000 crore at a coupon of 6.18% p.a. payable annually. The issuance/placement of said Bonds has been completed by the Bank through BSE-EBP.
