JBM Auto has received orders for supply of 700 numbers of JBM ‘CITYLIFE’ fully air conditioned BS-VI CNG low-floor buses from Delhi Transport Corporation (Government of NCT of Delhi). These orders will be executed in the coming months.
Star Cement has successfully commenced commercial production at its New Grinding Unit situated at Siliguri, West Bengal on January16, 2021. It is a modern state of Art Grinding unit with annual capacity of 2.00 MTPA.
Aarvi Encon has expanded its business in Middle East by incorporating a new entity in the Sultanate of Oman under the name owned subsidiary Company i.e Aarvi Encon FZE located in the United Arab Emirates, to market and provide Aarvi’s services in the high growth Middle East market to provide manpower deputation and operation and maintenance services across Middle East. In the said joint venture arrangement, Aarvi Encon FZE would own 70 percent controlling stake and the local owner at Oman would own the balance 30 percent minority stake.
GE T&D India has agreed to sell its global engineering operations division (India for Global) to GE India Industrial together with the assets and manpower comprised therein along with its corresponding liabilities on slump sale basis on an 'as is where is' basis. The activities of the said business were to provide engineering and product and project design services to global affiliates of GE Grid Solutions and hence non-core to the company's business.
NMDC is eyeing to utilize 97 per cent of its production capacity to produce 35 million tonne (MT) of iron ore in this fiscal. The company has also an ambitious target of producing 100 MT by 2030, in a bid to ensure a continuous and smooth supply of the mineral for steel makers.

BEML has unveiled ‘Driverless Metro Car’ for Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA). Indigenously designed & developed state?of?the?art Driverless Metro trains are being manufactured at BEML’s Bangalore Complex. The cars will operate on 25 kV AC traction power and equipped with CCTV surveillance and with the provision to carry passenger bi?cycles in the coaches. The cars are made up of stainless?steel body with a capacity of carrying 2280 passengers in 6 cars Metro train?set.
