Hindustan Zinc reports 36% rise in Q3 net profit

Hindustan Zinc has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2020.

The company has reported 35.80% rise in its net profit of Rs 2200 crore for the quarter under review as against net profit of Rs 1620 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.Total income of the company increased by 26.70% at Rs 6483 crore for Q3FY21 as compared Rs 5117 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Hindustan Zinc, the world’s second biggest zinc producer, operates the world’s third largest open-pit mine, and world’s largest Zinc Mine in Rampura Agucha, Rajasthan.
