In other words it will pay 3 months of salary before Diwali to these employees. Further, after resuming its operations company has decided to pay salaries in 30-day arrears, on a monthly basis. October 2012 salary will be paid by fourth week of December 2012; November 2012 salary will be paid by the fourth week of January, 2013 and so on.

Recently, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation suspended the operating license of Kingfisher Airlines on October 20, for failing to reply to the regulator's show cause notice as to why action should not be taken against the airline for failing to maintain its operations. The airline declared a lock out on October 1 after its engineers refused to certify aircraft for undertaking a scheduled flight.
