Canara Bank reports 89% rise in Q3 consolidated net profit

Canara Bank has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2020.

The Bank has reported 2- fold jump in its net profit at Rs 696.06 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit of Rs 329.62 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 53.41% at Rs 21479.86 crore for Q3FY21 as compared Rs 14001.63 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported 88.54% rise in its net profit after minority interest at Rs 749.73 crore for the quarter under review as against net profit of Rs 397.65 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 57.68% at Rs 24490.63 crore for Q3FY21 as compared Rs 15531.80 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
