Tata Power trades higher on the bourses

Tata Power Company is currently trading at Rs. 77.40, up by 1.45 points or 1.91% from its previous closing of Rs. 75.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 75.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 77.85 and Rs. 74.50 respectively. So far 1120183 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 87.95 on 15-Jan-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 27.00 on 12-May-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 84.90 and Rs. 74.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 24476.30 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.86%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.96% and 16.17% respectively.

Tata Power Solar Systems (Tata Power Solar), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Power, has received a ‘Letter of Award’ (LoA) to build 320MW of ground mounted Solar PV project for NTPC. The order value of the project is approximately Rs 1200 crore ($162 Million). The Commercial operation date for this project is set for May 2022.

The scope of work includes the land, acquisition, engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning of the grid-connected solar project on a turnkey basis along with three years of operations & maintenance services for the solar plant, power evacuation system and telemetry up to the interconnecting state transmission utility (STU) substation.
