Tata Power, SeQuent Scientific and Oil India to see some action today

Tata Power’s wholly-owned subsidiary -- Tata Power Solar Systems (TPSSL) has received a ‘Letter of Award’ (LoA) to build 95 MW of ground mounted Solar PV project for GSECL. The order value of the project is approximately Rs 460 crore ($63 million). The Commercial operation date for this project is set for April 2022.

SeQuent Scientific (SeQuent) has received ‘Certificate of Suitability’ (CEP) for its generic active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) Diclazuril in the EU. Diclazuril is an antiprotozoal drug and is a preferred drug of choice for treating coccidiosis in livestock due to zero-day withdrawal period. It is also used in horses to treat equine protozoal myeloencephalitis caused by Sarcocystis neurona.

Oil India (OIL) has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT), Jais, Amethi in a MoU signing ceremony held at its Corporate Office in Noida on January 28, 2021. The MoU aimed at promoting Industry-Academia partnership between OIL and RGIPT.

Power Grid Corporation of India has filed draft papers with Sebi for floating an Infrastructure Investment Trust (InVIT) through which it seeks to raise more than Rs 5,000 crore. This will be the first InVIT in the country to be floated by a public sector company. The offer includes fresh issue as well as offer- for-sale. The PowerGrid InVIT units are proposed to be listed on the National Stock Exchange and the BSE.

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone has raised $500 million by selling 10-year bonds to international investors at a coupon of 3.10 percent. The senior unsecured US dollar note was oversubscribed six times by marquee international investors, helping it fix the coupon at a low 3.10 per cent. Last July, it had paid 4.2 per cent for a similar issue of $750 million.

Sadbhav Infrastructure Project’s board has considered and approved the issuance of non-convertible debentures amounting up to Rs 700 crore on a private placement basis in one or more tranches / series.

Vikram Solar has commissioned a 140 MW solar power project for state-run power giant National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) at Bilhaur, Kanpur spread across 700 acres. The solar project also includes a 33/132 KV switchyard. The expected energy yield of this project in Uttar Pradesh is 319 million units and is likely to power 1,45,662 houses per year.
