Infosys, Tata Motors and Coal India to see some action today

Infosys has entered into strategic collaboration with Spirit AeroSystems, a leading aero structures manufacturer. Spirit has chosen Infosys as its lead technology integration partner to help drive and set up the end-to-end applications and infrastructure integration of a few of Bombardier’s former aerostructures and aftermarket services assets, which have been recently acquired by Spirit.

Tata Motors’ wholly owned subsidiary -- Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is planning to launch all electric SUV I-PACE in India on March 9. The company has already commenced bookings of the model in the country. This digital event will provide a peek into a future-facing urban metropolis that is practically designed from the perspective of a sustainable ecosystem, uses innovative technologies and supports efficient modes of mobility like electric vehicles.

Coal India (CIL) has approved an aggregate investment of Rs 1,593.84 crore as a part of its equity capital towards setting up of three natural gas-based fertiliser plants. The plants would be set up in Gorakhpur( Uttar Pradesh), Barauni (Bihar) and Sindri (Jharkhand).

Aarvi Encon has won work orders approximately Rs 10.69 crore from Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) for supply of skilled workforce for Assistance in Research and Non – Research Project work at R&D Centre, IOC, Faridabad. The contract is for a period of 2 years from handing over the site.

Bank of Maharashtra has entered into a co-lending agreement with the Pune-based non-banking financial company LoanTap Credit Products, for MSME loans. Under the co-lending model, the bank will have an exposure of up to 80 per cent while the rest will be borne by the LoanTap.

Hindustan Zinc has entered into a pact with Swedish mining gear maker Epiroc's India arm to explore the possibility of introducing electric vehicles in underground mining. The move will assist in reducing carbon emissions, enabling the mine operations to become more environment-friendly.

Titan Company has expanded its portfolio within the wearable category by launching its new smart fitness gear brand TraQ. TRAQ is the first-ever smart gear developed entirely by Titan and conceptualised in-house at the design studio in Bengaluru.
