Indian Overseas Bank rises on turning black in Q3

Indian Overseas Bank is currently trading at Rs. 11.40, up by 0.04 points or 0.35% from its previous closing of Rs. 11.36 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 11.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 11.55 and Rs. 11.33 respectively. So far 490645 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 13.83 on 29-Jun-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 6.17 on 13-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 12.40 and Rs. 11.01 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 18886.10 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 95.84%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 1.73% and 2.43% respectively.

Indian Overseas Bank has reported a net profit of Rs 212.87 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2020 against net loss of Rs 6075.49 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 11.32% at Rs 5786.54 crore for Q3FY21 as compared Rs 5197.94 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the October-December quarter of the current fiscal improved to 12.19%, as compared to 17.12% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 3.13% in Q3FY21.
