Punjab & Sind Bank slips as its net loss widens to Rs 2376 crore in Q3

Punjab & Sind Bank is currently trading at Rs. 14.21, down by 0.10 points or 0.70% from its previous closing of Rs. 14.31 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 14.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 14.70 and Rs. 14.00 respectively. So far 97300 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 18.75 on 10-Feb-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 9.20 on 23-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 15.00 and Rs. 13.47 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 995.50 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 83.06%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.08% and 10.86% respectively.

Punjab & Sind Bank has reported a net loss of Rs 2375.53 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2020 against net loss of Rs 255.49 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank decreased by 10.05% at Rs 1982.52 crore for Q3FY21 as compared Rs 2077.01 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the October-December quarter of the current fiscal improved to 13.14%, as compared to 13.58% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 2.84% in Q3FY21.
