SpiceJet has received India’s international low cost international carrier of the year 2012 award from the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI). The award reaffirms the company’s goal to provide affordable air services to its esteemed guests.
TAAI travel awards aims to acknowledge and award the contributions made by the captains of the Travel & Tourism Industry.
Earlier last month, the airline was voted amongst the Top 5 Best Budget Airline in Asia by Smart Travel Asia. SpiceJet was ranked at fourth position among Asian airlines by Smart Travel Asia.
