Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) is planning to launch India's first all women-managed luxury residences Taj Wellington Mews in Chennai, expected to open from April. The initiative is in line with the company's ongoing efforts in creating an equitable workplace and ecosystem while empowering women in the hospitality industry. Taj Wellington Mews will have 112 residences, led by a woman General Manager and a team of over 100 women across all operations and other departments.
Indian Hotels Company and its subsidiaries are collectively known as Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces and recognized as one of Asia's largest and finest hotel company. It operates in the luxury, premium, midmarket and value segments of the market.
