JMC Projects zooms on signing agreement with Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation

JMC Projects (India) is currently trading at Rs. 86.80, up by 8.35 points or 10.64% from its previous closing of Rs. 78.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 82.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 88.80 and Rs. 82.05 respectively. So far 60840 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 88.80 on 09-Mar-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 29.50 on 26-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 88.80 and Rs. 74.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1456.58 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.75%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.86% and 15.38% respectively.

JMC Projects (India) has signed an agreement with Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC), a state-owned company of the Government of the Republic of the Maldives, for the design, finance and construction of 2,000 social housing units in Hulhumale Island of Maldives.

The total value for this project is estimated to be around $137 Million (Rs 1,000 crore) and is planned to be financed via a loan from multilateral funding agency. The financial closure of the project is expected to conclude soon and construction on the project will commence after the financial closure.
