L&T’s arm inks MoU with Australian software firm SenSen Networks

Larsen & Toubro’s wholly-owned subsidiary - Larsen & Toubro Infrastructure Development Projects (L&T IDPL) has inked a memorandum of understanding ( MoU) with Australian software firm SenSen Networks. As per the agreement, which is worth Rs 100 crore and spread over a period of three years, SenSen Networks will deliver video-based CCTV linked data analytics technology to L&T IDPL.

The software provided by SenSen will recognize and accurately capture number plates in any language in any font, size or configuration and pass the information directly to the billing mechanism which will keep a tab on toll evaders.

L&T IDPL currently handles a portfolio of infrastructure assets worth Rs 45,000 crore comprising 19 road projects, three ports and a metro rail project.
