Central Bank of India surges on inking MoU with Edwise Consultant

Central Bank of India is currently trading at Rs. 71.85, up by 0.85 points or 1.20% from its previous closing of Rs. 71.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 71.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 72.00 and Rs. 71.00 respectively. So far 43227 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 111.80 on 15-Mar-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 62.30 on 13-Sep-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 72.60 and Rs. 70.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5277.95 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 79.15% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 13.22% and 7.63% respectively.

Central Bank of India has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Edwise Consultant, a consultancy company, providing guidance and consultancy services to the students aspiring for higher studies abroad.

As per this arrangement the bank will provide education loans to students getting admission in foreign educational institutes with active support of Edwise Consultant as per bank’s ‘Cent Vidyarthi Scheme’.
